The University of Prince Edward Island’s Faculty of Business has been named as host school for the 2019 NIBS Worldwide Case Competition.
UPEI, located on Canada’s Atlantic coast, has an impressive track record of success at case competitions, including a third-place finish at the 2013 NIBS tournament and silver medals in 2015 and 2016. The school also participated in the recently-completed 2018 Championship Round in Guatemala.

The university’s business school, a longstanding NIBS member, is renowned for its international perspective, cross-disciplinary breadth, experiential learning initiatives, and strong connections to the business community.
Next year’s Championship Round—the competition’s 24th edition—will take place on the UPEI campus in the provincial capital of Charlottetown. Participants will have a chance to experience island hospitality, the birthplace of Canadian confederation, and the locations and scenery that inspired the world-renowned novel Anne of Green Gables.
Final dates have yet to be confirmed, but the week of February 17-22 appears likely.
