The Network of International Business Schools has officially introduced a new website and logo.
Today’s launch is the culmination of a comprehensive rebranding process, aimed at updating the organization’s visual identity and enhancing communication with members. The initiative was conducted in-house by the NIBS Board, with assistance from several member universities.
“NIBS connects many of the world’s leading international business schools,” observed president Ian Charles. “We wanted to ensure that our digital presence reflected that status, and conveyed a level of professionalism on a par with that of our members.”
The new logo features a blue sphere with the NIBS acronym, providing continuity with the previous version. It also incorporates interlocking lines, representing the interconnectedness of NIBS, cooperation among members, and the lines of longitude and latitude on a globe. The design is also intended to evoke feelings of motion, travel and dynamism.
Social media users got a sneak preview of the new look on the NIBS Twitter account last month. It will be phased in on official documents over the coming months.
In addition to a refreshed look and feel, the website now includes a Member News area that will provide regular updates on events and developments of interest to NIBS members. The section, which will be curated, will give member schools and others a simple and effective way to share important announcements with the rest of the network. Additional features will be added over time, in response to member feedback.
The new website will also adjust page layout for the device being used to view it, so content will be easy to read and navigate whether you are using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
